I went to Europe for the first time in 1976 with my girlfried Winifred, and it was great! Unfortunately, you won't see much of interest. I borrowed a nice camera from a friend, but it was the first time I had ever used an SLR camera. My inexperience meant that most of the rolls of film were not loaded properly, and so most of the pictures weren't really taken. Naturally, I didn't find this out until I got home. So there are very few pictures here. I had taken slides, and I have now scanned them for this project. Due to age or my incompetent photography, the color balance is poor. I have tried to adjust the balance, but the results are still not very good.
We started out in Luxembourg, went to Paris, Lucerne, and then drove through Germany back to Luxembourg. There is no travel diary, and I took no notes on what I was (not) photographing. So many of the descriptions of the pictures are my best guess after 40 years. Some of the pictures of nicely painted houses in Lucerne are probably from someplace else, maybe Germany. This is not a great set of pictures, but nobody is making you look at them, either.
The album is HERE.
